Cancer Do’s & Don’t

CANCER CARE

Cancer is a condition in which certain cells in the body grow uncontrollably and can spread to other parts of the body. It can occur in almost any part of the human body, which is made up of trillions of cells.

Normally, human cells grow and multiply to form new cells as the body needs them. When cells grow old or become damaged, they die, and new cells take their place. However, sometimes this orderly process breaks down. Abnormal or damaged cells begin to grow and multiply when they shouldn’t. These cells may form lumps of tissue called tumors.
